Miss Happiness and Miss Flower is a charming story about friendship and family from one of our greatest ever storytellers, Rumer Godden.
Rumer Godden was one of the UK's most distinguished authors. She wrote many well-known and much-loved books for both adults and children, including The Story of Holly & Ivy and The Dolls' House. Her children's novel The Diddakoi won the Whitbread Children's Book Award in 1972. She was awarded an OBE in 1993 and died in 1998, aged ninety.

Sarah Gibb studied at Saint Martin's School of Art (now Central Saint Martins) before completing her MA in Illustration at Brighton College of Art. After landing regular spots in the Telegraph and Elle magazine, Sarah went on to illustrate Sue Townsend's Adrian Mole series, many classic children's fairy tales and even the Harrods Christmas window display. She lives in Wandsworth, London.
