John R. W. Stott (1921-2011) was known worldwide as a preacher, evangelist and communicator of Scripture. His best-selling books are Basic Christianity and The Cross of Christ, along with his eight volumes in The Bible Speaks Today series of New Testament expositions. Stott was honored by Time magazine in 2005 as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World." Andrew T. Le Peau was associate publisher at InterVarsity Press for over thirty years. He is the coauthor of several Bible study guides and the author of Paths of Leadership.
