Great textbook to refresh knowledge and build confidence for this who are rusty in the sciences
"User-friendly, well structured and comprehensive revision guide to the key areas of chemistry, biology and physics which are necessary for study in the medical sciences. I am studying for a degree in dementia care as part of a career change from the arts to health sciences, so desperately needed a refresher of key principles in these three areas to help me get to grips with the concepts underlying neurobiology and neuroscience. This book has been a fantastic help in giving me confidence to tackle subjects which I had not studied since school many years ago, and I would therefore highly recommend it."

"Would definitely recommend! Great book to look back to if you've forgotten anything or for those who didn't study biology/chemistry in their A levels!"»
