– Henry Kissingers verk om amerikansk utenrikspolitikk i det 20.århundre er en omfattende bok. Kissinger tar for seg alle de store politiske hendelsene internasjonalt fra 1900 til 1990, og drøfter med amerikansk blikk hva som skjedde. Boken er rik på detaljer, og de aller fleste vil kunne lære mye her, om de orker å lese de nesten 1000 sidene.
Jeg leste boka på mellomfag historie og syntes den var interessant, så lenge man husker at den er skrevet av en som var amerikansk secretary of state under Vietnamkrigen. Hele tre kapitler i boken er forøvrig viet denne, og man får et godt innblikk i spillet bak kulissene. God bok.
