– Introducing, Lestat, he who appeared so cruel at first. Now we get the story from his perspective, he also takes us further back, to when he was still human. He leads us step by step thorough both his life up till when he first met Louis, and further on. AR has an amazing ability to present the reader with something or someone and then, without correcting her previous writings, add and add so that in the end, you¿re left with an entirely new impression. The mood of this book is less depressing than the first, the language even more flamboyant. You¿ll soon realize that this is how Anne Rice operates. Her different characters have different ways of communicating. Lestat is daring, excessive, intriguing and sometimes annoying, but always interesting and often humorous. Don¿t forget to buy the second and third book together ¿ you¿ll regret it as you read the last page, chewing your nails and realizing with absolute horror that all the shops and libraries are closed for the day. This is one of my favorite books in this entire series, and introduces the character most fans can¿t live without, who? The amazing Lestat of course!

Anbefales!
