This volume describes organizational and administrative principles which have led to succesful applications of human factors and to the growth and diversification of human factors as groups. The book addresses the question of designing for the human user by presenting examples and principles derived from experience in applied human factors work in private corporations. The purpose is to divide direction and understanding of what it takes to make a human factors group successful and contributing part of corporations.
