"Throne of Jade" er en spennende bok, full av både storpolitikk og små, dagligdagse hendelser. Blandingen fører til at boka aldri blir kjedelig, siden den er full av variasjon, og språket har en flyt som gjør at det er en glede å lese. Det er interessant å se hvordan Laurence blir utfordret i sin lojalitet til England og sin oppfatning av andre lands underlegenhet. Jeg gleder meg til neste bok!
