– Nok en gang er Carol Jordan og Dr Tony Hill på sporet av en massemorder. Noen tar livet av folk med gift, og når en bombe eksploderer på en fotballstadion der en av de drepte skulle ha spillt blir det hele en veldig alvorlig sak. Så alvorlig at Carol Jordan blir fratatt saken og et team av terroreksperter tar over. Men hverken Carol Jordan eller hennes team vil gi fra seg saken, og de jobber med den på sin egen måte. Tony Hill vil også hjelpe med det han kan, selv om han egentlig burde ligge i sykesengen sin og bli frisk etter et sammenstøt med en gal pasient med øks. Dette er en god bok man ikke burde gå glipp av.
