Victoria Carruthers is Senior Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art History and Theory at the Australian Catholic University in Sydney,
Australia. Her publications to date have
focused largely on the work of Dorothea Tanning, although she has also written
on other modernists such as French Surrealist poet Joyce Mansour and Czech
photographer Emila Medkova.
