You keep on wondering what will happen to Kevin and Sadie.Their relationship causes a lot of trouble for them, but they insist on seeing each other. The book gives a very good insight in the conditions in Northern Ireland, and that was very interesting. You learn about how they think, and why some people act like they do. The book was also easy to read, and I enjoyed it very much. “Across the Barricades” is not only a great and entertaining book, but you can learn something from it too.
