This guide focuses on the technical elements of voice and speech, including breathing, resonance, and diction, as well as providing an introduction to verse speaking and scansion and to Shakespeare's rhetorical devices, such as antithesis, alliteration, onomatopoeia, irony, metaphor, and wordplay.
