– In this book we meet Jack. He is tiered of this life, but one day everything changes. On the plane home he meets Tyler Durben. Together they start Fight club. Here men can meet and fight. The first rule of fight club is: you do not talk about fight club. During the book Jack get more and more involved in Tylers life, and he starts to hate him. This book was alright. I love some of the things Tyler Durben said. For example: You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. If you like to read about the crazy world we live in, you are going to love this book.

Medlemsvurdering:
Palahniuk has become one of my favourite authors, and while 'Fight Club' was not the first book of his I read, it's one of his best. This is one hell of a first novel! Featuring soap made from human fat, waiters at high-class restaurants who do unmentionable things to soup and an underground organization dedicated to inflicting a violent anarchy upon the land. And, as in all his other books, a lonely someone trying to connect with other people, and create some meaning in their life. Narrator-Jack believes he has it all, until he meets the Very Cool Tyler Durden, and realises he's gotten it all wrong. Tyler decides it's time to change the world, and Jacks life descends rapidly from there. Written in Palahniuk's signature minimalist style and full of the memorable one-liners that is so very Palahniuk-esque. It's brutal, intelligent and frighteningly real. If you liked the movie you will love this book, and it's even one of the few exceptions where the book is darker than the film.lily
