– "Danse Macabre" is a non-fiction book by Stephen King about horror in general, taking in classic works of fiction, radio, film, urban myths, stories, television and even fairy tales. Although not exactly up to date, it was published in 1981, "Danse Macabre" is a fascinating and very readable book if you are interested in this genre! The book offers King's many memories from childhood, from listening to creepy radio shows with his grandparents to watching black and white horror movies with his family! "Danse Macabre" is a collection of memories, stories and fascinating tales, it's a peek into Stephen King's mind and imagination, not to mention memory, and it's well written and fascinting, truly a good read if this genre is within your liking! "Danse Macabre" is a book I have enjoyed reading several times, and I will probably read it again soon, as King's way of writing and telling stories fascinates and entertains me!
