Paul Arden spent 14 years as the Executive Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi. He was responsible for some of the UK's most successful advertising campaigns - British Airways, Silk Cut, Anchor Butter, InterCity and Fuji. In 1993 he set up the film production company Arden Sutherland-Dodd. His first book sold over half a million copies. He has a weekly column in the Independent and recently opened a photographic gallery in his hometown, Petworth.

– Boka inneholder en rekke tips om hvordan å se litt lysere på tilværelsen med det man har, og fokuserer på livets muligheter. Små anekdoter om: hvorfor det er bedre å jobbe enn å gå på skole, idéutvikling, å ta avgjørelser, å ta standpunkt etc. Den er rikt illustrert, ofte med store typer og den er veldig lettlest. Selv tar jeg den frem for å gi meg selv en tupp i baken og bli påminnet om at livet ikke er så værst. Med store doser humor er dette en flott, liten sak som alle med litt dårlig selvtillit burde ha i veska.
