Kos deg!
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Medlemsvurdering:
I expect that ever single human being know the story about Alice, but if you the exception that proves the rule, here¿s a recap. Alice is a young girl who follows a bunny through a hole in the ground, and enters wonderland. Here she meets an array of funky characters, from Chesire Cats to wicked Queen of Hearts¿, and she has to go through a great many adventures to get back home. It¿s in many ways a very classic fairytale plot, but one that we all love and adore. And ¿Alice¿ stands out because of the eeriness and the original cast of quirky characters. It¿s a classic fairytale, and it deserves to be. And this particular addition is exquisite. Its coffee table sized, so perhaps not the best suited for children, but it looks very impressive. It has a built in bookmark that says ¿Read Me¿ and the cover and binding is well made. And, of course, the illustrations are beautiful. They are monochromatic and technically flawless, and have the almost-exaggerated-ness and near-creepy-ness that suits this story perfectly.Lily
