basins in the region, such as Indus, Ganges, Brahmaputra, Narmada, Godavari and Krishna, the chapters highlight socio-economic,
infrastructural, environmental and institutional aspects of water scarcity in South Asia and present best practices for improved
sustainable water management and security in the region.
