International Perspectives on Regional Research Projects and Practice is the fourth anthology produced by Møreforsking and includes nine peerreviewed articles. This year, the anthology is interdisciplinary, presenting results from research projects in marine as well as social sciences.

The contributions in the first part of the anthology includes topics on marine research along the entire value chain from ocean to consumer,
including sustainable management of coastal eco systems and marine resources, exploitation of new marine resources, improved utilization of
residual raw materials, consumer preferences and markets. Part II of this anthology focuses on social inclusion through the provision of integrated
services from different perspectives.

Global challenges and sustainability are recurring themes which affect us all, although the regional and local challenges and impacts are different.
The research objectives covered by the different publications promotes research-based innovation in the marine industry as well as development
of knowledge that contributes to better practices and governance.
